The VID has set new standards for independent, transparent, high-quality insolvency administration with the “Principles of Proper Insolvency Administration” (Grundsätze ordnungsgemäßer Insolvenzverwaltung) (GOI), which are binding to all VID members.

These strict professional regulations valid for all VID members aim to further specify the efforts of the VID members to establish insolvency administration aimed at restructuring in regard to the continuing existence and restructuring of the companies entrusted to them. In doing so, the GOI is also setting standards regarding conduct vis-à-vis creditors, courts and employers.
